• Hi folks. We’re back after taking a Labor Day holiday to labor on important things like laying in front of the TV, eating barbequed foods, and playing video games. In fact, it’s been a pretty slow time in the View Askew world as well, so you won’t notice too much going on here. We’re making some minor improvements on the look of the site, which you may have noticed. A drinking games update is planned for this week. • Vincent Pereira’s debut film, “A Better Place” will be screening in select theatres this October. Here’s a quick summary along with a screening time for those of you that are IFP members (If any ofyou are even out there…)

• Steve Rettinger has recently updated his famous Jay &Silent Bob Windows cursors as well as repackaged them in nice .EXE file formats so you don’teven need a ZIP program to decoompress them. Stop by Cursors Askew or grab them locally here:

• We don’t want to go into too much detail here, because it’s more personal than Askew-related, but we at least wanted to mention that Kevin & Kim are back together again, and wish them them best. You can read Kev’s post regarding this HERE if you desire. Thanks go out to Riff Raff for this info.

• Well, as you, our devoted fans, have seen, this page has grown quite a bit over the last couple of months. In fact, it’s growing in size at a fairly alarming rate! Things such as requests for frameless versions, continuing archives, and our desire to include more localized versions of files and spiffy graphics has caused us to consider looking for a new website. Our internet provider HAS the space for us, however it’s gonna cost us monthly to use it and, frankly, we’re cheap bastards and would rather get it free. Along with this would come a new URL, of course, which we’d link from this current one and advertise fairly openly.

Anyway, if you’re interested in helping, please drop us a line. If advertising is something that’s required, I suppose we’d consider it, but we’d rather keep the site true to its current look if possible. We’d need a FAST home that we could have regular telnet and FTP access to in order to keep the files current and update as we please. If you think you can help us, let us know. This will not be an immediate move, but one sometime in the near future if we can arrange it. Thanks for your time.
