“Tail Lights Fade” Info…
- We’ve got some hot “Tail Lights Fade” casting info for you here, from an anonymous and very helpful scooper…Remember where you heard it first!
The Fade is still kinda working out the kinks in final cast, but I can tell you that Christina Applegate is in it, to be joined by the “Wild Thing” herself, Denise Richards.
Incidentally, both of them are ex “Married With Children” gals.
No Carmen Lee.
Final budget is in the realm of $3m.
Shoot starts June 1.
Denise Richards…Yowza!!! Well, we suppose Kelly Bundy is okay, too, but she’s getting a little up there in years…But Denise…She needs to come over. Anyway, shame about Carmen, really it is. Due to the fact that TLF is getting less and less Askew-related, coverage WILL be limited, but we’ll at least try and keep you abreast (Denise…) of what’s going on with the flick.
Vote For Jay & Bob In Celebrity DeathMatch!
- A lot of you may have caught the Celebrity Deathmatch episode on MTV before Seinfeld this past Thursday night, in which the main event was a fight between Jerry Seinfeld and Tim Allen. If you haven’t seen the show, it’s an all-claymation show where popular characters meet up and do battle. It’s a lot of fun.
Anyway, now that the show will air every Thursday night at 10 on MTV, they’re looking for ideas. That’s where YOU come in. On the MTV Celebrity Deathmatch web page, they’re taking votes for a special “Viewer’s Choice” episode. Jay & Silent Bob are one of the choices! Be sure to surf over and give them your vote, it’d be great to see a clay Jay & Bob go at it! Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kev & Jay even did the voices themselves…
Jay Gets Popped…
- An astute poster on the WWWBoard mentioned a rumor he’d heard that was actually in turn verified by Kevin, with yet another funny “Jay story” to add to the collection. Here’s the thread:
: The rumor as I heard it. Jay and a bunch of cats from the crew are out drinking. Some chick gets Jay’s autograph, shows it to boyfriend, he gets pissed and punches Mewes out(with one punch). Assorted members of the crew then procede to jump this guy.
Close – he did, indeed, pop Mewes in the face. However, the boy was not ‘punched out’. In fact, he showed considerable constraint, considering he had a pool cue in hand. His rationale was that he didn’t want to get arrested, and screw up the schedule. Apparently, the punch was such that only his pride was hurt.
Or as Mewes put it: “The fuck hit like a girl.”
