- How about that? Oni‘s comic sales are going through the ROOF! The first Oni Double and Clerks books are selling like hotcakes, and who’s to argue? These books are worth every cent. Jay & Bob #1 is bound to do the same, most likely even better business. In the meantime, here’s their ranks according to Wizard Magazine, and the write-ups:
(#3) Clerks: There’s little doubt that Kevin Smith is the hottest name in comics these days. The writer/director of flicks like Chasing Amy and Clerks, wrote this black-and-white one-shot from Oni Press, and its doin’ even better buisness than Smith’s Mallrats. Which come to think about it, aint sayin much.
