Finding Us This Weekend…

  • Okay, so we’re just 2 short days away from the Stash Gala, and this may indeed be our last update before we leave for Red Bank tomorrow, so we thought we’d get all the particulars out of the way. Some of you have been asking how to spot us amongst the crowd, so we’ll try and make it simple for ya. Looks like the weather’s gonna be pretty cold (more on that in a minute) so I’ll (Brad) wear my John LeClair (#10) Flyers hockey jersey on Saturday. Chris shouldn’t be far, either. Friday night I’ll likely have on a tan long sleeve shirt or a blue and white flannel with a grey t-shirt. Comfortable clothes given the temps that are in the forecast.

As for descriptions, that’s simple: We’re in our mid-20’s, brown hair, and basically look pretty much like everyone else that’s gonna be there. Easy right? Actually, there’s a pic of us with Kevin on our Rutgers page HERE from a couple of years ago, but the scan ain’t too hot and the pic is old, but there’s an idea. Now you know how to find us, or AVOID us, if that’s your preference! But seriously, we look forward to meeting many of you there.

As for the weather, we’re currently experiencing a snowstorm here in Central PA, and it looks like there may be more snow on the way in the New York City area this Saturday and Sunday, which means the possibility of snow or rain in Red Bank this weekend. Be prepared! We assume the event is going to happen regardless of the weather, but will update on this IMMEDIATELY if we hear different. Check here for the latest.

We hope to arrive at the Courtyard Marriott around 8 PM or so tomorrow night. We both gotta work on Friday, so it’s the best we can do. We’ll check in, then most likely hit the hotel bar to see what’s doin’, first and foremost, then take it from there. We’ll post our room number at the hotel on News Askew tomorrow night for those of you with web access, and will most likely stick something on our door as well (so you can just wander around and find us). Feel free to stop in and say hello! Just not at 3 AM or anything wacky like that.

See ya in Red Bank!
