Jersey Girl: ‘SuperStank’ has a report on Kevin Smith’s upcoming project: “At the Orlando Megacon comic book convention this past weekend, Kevin Smith made a few announcements during his Q-n-A. First, he will more than likely cast an unknown as the lead in Jersey Girl. Second, Fletch Won will be his next project after Jersey Girl. Third, after almost two years of talking about it, he is finally writing the script for the Clerks animated movie. The basic premise is that Dante and Randall make a low-budget black and white film at the convenience store and consequently become famous. Then it all comes crashing down. Lastly, there was some joking about changing the name of Jersey Girl to Vancouver Girl because of the production possibly being moved out of New Jersey for budgetary reasons”.
