- If you’ve been following along, you’ll recall that a few days ago, Kevin invited his entire audience at an appearance to attend a screening of “Changing Lanes”, and even offered to pay for tickets. He did, in fact, do just that — He bought out an entire theater and introduced the film himself. A local news station caught the story, and broadcast it. We’re lucky enough to have that for ya, in Quicktime and Realmedia. Enjoy!

Vincent Guastini Website Online!
- Vincent Guastini Productions, the folks who handled the practical effects on Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (not to mention those sick “arm” effects in “Requiem For A Dream”) have announced that their official website is now online! The site is full of a ton of never-before seen pics and information, and promises regular updates with more of the same. Here’s Vincent with the official announcement:
After compiling the info on the site it was my intent to get away from the normal looking sites, I went around to rest of the sites in the industry and I was trying to be as unique and different as I could. And to also be the biggest make-up effects site on the net. Next steps being done now is hitting the industry magazines and websites so it should be popping up all over the net as far as awareness.
It was also my intent to set it up like an effects book and or was always trying to go for the most in depth and interesting site as well, so I’m Finessing it for the fans of effects as well as the make-up effects professional. And of course as a way of expanding my business.
It was designed to come up pretty good even at 56k modem slower computers, but is meant more for the faster ones which have no problem loading everything instantly and you can blow up each image as well. I went with bigger JPEGs cause of quality since most sites have thumbnails and use the lower quality flash pics.
Each section I feel is easy to navigate each section has a small story and or background info then a bunch of very detailed JPEGs follow.
The site will grow every week. So it’s still growing. Any comments suggestions are appreciated to make the site the best it can be.
Thanks to all of you I have worked with or just plain been my friends I’m excited about my new shop and hope to make it be the best it can be both in the work and just having fun.
Well, what are you waiting for? Visit it HERE!
