• Howdy folks — Just got a couple things here for an update today — While the updates have been short, there’s still been a lot of great stuff going on, so don’t pass them by! Has anyone been reading the advance reviews on M. Night’s “Signs”? Damn if that flick doesn’t sound WAY cool! If anyone gets their hands on a screener of that puppy and can pass it on, let us know — We promise complete confidentiality. Touchstone, you listening? August is just too far away! Help!

Also, a word of warning — There’s a virus running rampant through e-mail these days, and chances are you’ve seen a few of them hit your inbox. The way that the virus works is that it takes a look through your e-mail program’s address book, and passes it on to your friends. The WORST part is that it doesn’t even look like the e-mail came from you most of the time, it can actually clone itself to appear as if it came from ANOTHER member of your address book. We’re getting around 30 to 40 of these virus e-mails a day, as a result of being in infected user’s address books. If you’ve got our addresses or the scoops address in your address book, PLEASE make SURE that you’re virus-free. The latest Norton Antivirus or McAfee software should take care of this. Our PCs here are fully protected and have never carried the virus, so if you DO get an infected e-mail that looks like it came from us, it didn’t. By the way — The worst thing about this virus is that it can run without you even opening the attachment, even if you just preview a message with it attached, you might get it. In short, PLEASE check your PCs, and if you’re infected, take us out of your address book until you get it under control. We don’t want folks thinking this thing came from here.
