- IGN DVD has a little blurb on Columbia Tristar’s “Evening with Kevin Smith” DVD. No new info, just good to see more sites confirming the date.
- Jason Lee’s Fletch portion of his recent appearance on Carson Daly’s “Last Call” is up in text and photo format over at the Fletch Won site. You can check out some stills of lee in that “Clerks” shirt.
- Yet more news from IGN DVD – They join the masses in attacking the latest Superman movie script, and claim Kevin’s was the one to go with once again:
No, Warner should take Kevin Smith’s original draft of Superman Lives and turn it into a movie. Not the one with Brianiac’s gay robot sidekick, and not the one with the giant spiders. The original.
Smith’s original script took the Death of Superman storyline, added some great depth, and would have easily been one of the best comic book movies ever. Right up there with the Donner Superman. The script involved Brainiac, Luthor, Doomsday, and even had a cameo by Batman who delivered a message of support to Metropolis in its darkest hour. In the comic storyline, Doomsday just showed up and started to trash everything in site. Smith’s script has a lot more depth than that…

- The folks at Pure Gonzo Journalism have started to work on some Jersey Girl coverage, starting with catching Affleck and Lopez at a local shopping mall.
- A Premiere Magzine story on the Indie Moviement of the 90’s begins with Kevin and Clerks (taken from the 15th anniversary issue of the magazine). There’s also a few new quotes from Kevin in there as well.
- A couple of Maryland wrestlers named Chad and Dino are apparently big Jay & Silent Bob fans according to their profiles.
