  • A show called “Headliners and Legends” airing on MSNBC about Ben Aflleck featured Ben talking about Kevin, and Kevin talking about Ben. There was a mention of Jersey Girl and mucho credit given to Kevin for helping to launch Ben’s career with Chasing Amy. Also, a brief mention of Dogma and how nice of a guy Ben is for paying back a favor to Kevin and making that flick.
  • A Clerks t-shirt was spotted on a character in the film “Comic Book Villians” towards the beginning.
  • Die-hard Jason Lee fans will be pleased to know that “Stealing Harvard” is set to arrive on DVD and VHS on February 18th, 2003.
  • It was sad to see “Push, Nevada” go so soon, but it’s nice to see the Hollywood Reporter today printing the news on a new show from Affleck and Damon’s LivePlanet:
LivePlanet is “L.A.” bound

After their collaboration on the short-lived interactive drama “Push, Nevada” this fall, ABC and Touchstone TV are back in business with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s LivePlanet.

This time around, the LivePlanet principals, including Sean Bailey and Chris Moore, have set their sights on the City of Angels. The new project, “Los Angeles,” is described as a one-hour drama about nine strangers whose lives become interconnected through random events.

Zack Helm is writing the script for the show, which is in the early stages of development. Bailey is spearheading the project for LivePlanet and will serve as an executive producer alongside Moore and Helm.

Helm’s writing credits include the upcoming feature “Sector Seven” from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.

Among other projects, LivePlanet is working with HBO and Miramax TV on the second installment of “Project Greenlight,” the reality series revolving around aspiring filmmakers.
