  • A University of Minnesota student tells us that the official location of Kevin’s Q&A will be the Coffman Memorial Union on March 25th. Tickets are available for STUDENTS ONLY and will be $10. You must have a valid student ID both when you buy the tickets AND when you enter the event. They will be on sale at Coffman’s Info Booth probably about a week before the even (Mar 18th or so). That’s all we’ve got for now.

Inaction Figures & Bookend Ship Info…

  • Graphitti Designs has announced that shipments will be a little bit later than planned on those Jay & Bob bookends — They’re now not going to hit until mid-April, but they’re worht the wait! The Clerks inaction figures, which are still very eagerly awaited here, will ship in the middle of this month. No info on the Mallrats set yet, but we’re sure that’ll come soon. Be sure to get those orders in for these items at the Stash and we’ll have them for you as soon they arrive.

  • Here’s a small clip from a Hollywood Reporter piece on the happenings in Aspen. This is the stuff that dealt with Kevin:
Later in the day, filmmaker Kevin Smith discussed his career, professional goals and relationships with actors in his trademark straightforward manner, which repeatedly brought cheers and whistling sounds from the mostly younger audience that filled Aspen’s Wheeler Opera House.

Smith said he enjoys most the writing and editing process in moviemaking, because those chores don’t require interaction with others.

  • Moby again sends props to “Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back” in his website update today:
“then saturday i went with my friends johan and lina to see morris day and the time. which, needless to say, made me feel like i was living in the end of ‘jay and silent bob strike back’. and needless to say, ‘jay and silent bob strike back’ is one of the finest movies ever made. morris day and the time were great. especially the comedy. and the ‘bird’ dance. to put it in old, jaded show-biz terms; they have a good schtick.”
