  • Alright! It sounds like that episode of Duck Dodgers where Kevin’s voice appears (as Hal Jordan) will premiere on Saturday, October 18th, on Cartoon Network:
HAL AND DAFFY? TOGETHER AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME!
One episode of “Duck Dodgers” is certain to be a can’t-miss for comic fans.
“We are doing one DC crossover episode,” Register exclusively revealed to us. At some point in the first season Daffy Duck will find Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern costume and ring!
“Daffy accidentally finds himself in posession of a legendary superheroes ring and becomes the new Green Lantern of Earth,” said Paul Dini. “Doing a cameo voice over turn is CLERKS director Kevin Smith as everyone’s favorite Green Lantern Hal Jordan.”
Green Lantern is an interesting choice out of all the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes … especially since Hal Jordan hasn’t been Green Lantern for a while. “There’s only one Green Lantern,” Dini commented when asked about the choice.
The two-part episode “The Green Loontern” of Duck Dodgers will air on Saturday, Oct. 18 on Cartoon Network. In the episode, due to a mistake at the dry cleaners, Duck Dodgers gets a Green Lantern uniform instead of his own. Wearing the garment, mask and ring, Dodgers gains full Green Lantern powers. He must then thwart the wicked Sinestro’s plan to usurp the combined power of the Green Lantern Corps. Kevin Smith will provide the voice of Hal Jordan in the
episode.

No word at this point on whether Kevin’s voice appears in Part One, Part Two, or both. Sure sounds like a great episode. Dini does it again!

  • On Saturday, ABC showed Toy Story which also featured a preview for Pixar’s next, “The Incredibles”. As you may know (if you’re a close reader here), Jason Lee will provide a voice for the film. And yes, the featurette shown on ABC did feature Lee in some of the behind the scenes footage! You can download the clip of that HERE.
