- Shame on us for missing this one — Our beloved producer Scott Mosier is actually up for an honest-to-goodness Academy Award this year. Yep, Mos produced the 14 minute documentary short “Salim Baba”, which is up in the “Best Documentary Short Subject” category. The New York Times’ website has a synopsis and some other links, for the curious. Let’s hope for a strike settlement so we can see the Oscars on TV as they were intended, and let’s cross all appendages and hope for a Scott Mosier win! Congratulations to Scott on this great honor, and good luck.
