- News Askew, Shock Till You Drop and Ronalds Brothers Productions are pleased to announce the release (and release party) of “Netherbeast Incorporated” (starring Jason Mewes) on DVD – January 6, 2009! To celebrate, we’re giving away 5 copies of the DVD to News Askew readers for doing nothing more than sending us a simple email with the subject “Contest” (no quotes needed), along with your name and address somewhere in the body, to SCOOPS AT NEWSASKEW.COM (spell it out like an e-mail though, we’re trying to cut back on the spam). Easy as that. One entry per person. No need to write an essay or beg. We’ll pick 5 entries at random from all the entries that we get by 11:59:59 PST on December 31, 2008. So you’ve got the rest of the year to enter (but why not do it now?).
If you’re in the Los Angeles area, why not attend the official release party? It’ll be at the familiar CineSpace (off Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood, CA) on January 6th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Admission price is free, as long as you purchase the DVD there. Celebrities from Netherbeast will attend per professional availability (no word on Mewes at this point, we’ll let you know as we hear). Employees of Berm-Tech Industries, Inc. have kept the family secret for a long time. For years it has been business as usual, until the top vampire in charge (Darrell Hammond Saturday Night Live) contracts a dreaded disease, becomes senile forgetting that he s a vampire and starts killing off other vampire colleagues.
