Smith’s debut, about the day in the life of two service-industry suburbanites, was made for $27,575. It’s hard to tell where all that money went, But the cruddy lensing and muddy sound actually enhance the experience. Signature line: “I’m not even supposed to be here today.â€
- “Comic Book: The Movie†will be released not in June, but sometime in the Fall. We hear Kevin steals the show in his scene for the film.
- Just an interesting little tidbit: Apparently this intern who claims to have had sex with JFK lived “mostly in the Red Bank areaâ€.
- Comedy Central has a Prime Time Glick short/promo featuring a parody of IFC. The punchline is, “and as always, on Friday night Clerks!â€
