  • The Tonight Show has a newly designed webapge, and Kevin’s now featured at their website, due to his continued Roadside Attractions coverage. You can see his write-up HERE and also watch the California edition of Roadside Attractions directly at their site.

  • J&SBSB opened last Thursday in Germany, so we’re providing some scans of promotional material, as well as a magazine review which gives the film’s RC1 DVD its highest rating – The info box “The DVD King” at the bottom is about the poor quality of the RC2 DVDs of Kevi’s films. They emphasize that he puts a lot of effort in the commentary tracks and that they are by far the best. The third picture is from the same magazine and lists the DVDs with RC1 and 2 with the best audio commentaries. All of Kevin’s films made the list! If you can read German, we’re sure you’ll get even more out of the scans above.
  • J&SBSB was mentioned twice on the Comedy Central game show “Beat The Geeks” last night, when contestants were asked to identify Ali Larter and Shannon Elizabeth.

  • A picture of Stan Lee on the set of Daredevil appears today at Dark Horizons.
  • Kevin gets a small quote in a USA Today article called “Conquering Comic Heroes” today:
Alas, its declining-in-quality sequels sucked a good idea dry. As filmmaker Kevin Smith (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), who runs a comic-book emporium in Red Bank, N.J., says, ”Batman & Robin, the fourth film, was the death of the comic-book movie. It was too hokey. But X-Men suddenly opened the floodgates again.”

You can read the entire piece online HERE.
