Hot on the heels of the highly successful Clerks – The Cartoon comes Metallica – The Cartoon. The creators behind the animated ‘Clerks’ series include such high profile TV and movie talents as Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma) and Dave Mandel (Seinfield, Saturday Night Live) have come forth to present another animated television extravaganza for ABC-TV.

Art direction for the show will take on a variety of influences, with the band based on the drawings of recent Metallica cartoonist Tony Squindo, although you might also see some imagery based on the pen of the Mighty Hetfield himself, as well as a very special episode based on the nightmares of the one-and-only Pushead. With a very special and unique opening sequence based on the works of Mark Devito.
