  • The controversy continues as Scott Kramer’s “Employees” website has posted another clip from the film. Remember this one, folks? It’s the one following 2 sneaker store employees through a day in their lives in retail. So whatcha think, folks. Is it too close to Clerks? Here’s the press release:
PRESS RELEASE – Too Many Nicknames Productions Finishes It’s First Feature Film “Employees”

Too Many Nicknames Productions (”Waiting for Anakin”) has just wrapped post-production on it’s first feature film, “Employees.” Produced by Too Many Nicknames, in association with Twisted Sight Films, “Employees” takes place during a day in the life of Finnius and Banik, two best friends and sneaker store employees. Between the unusual events that happen to them and the unique characters that they come across, the two try to pass the time with various philosophical, yet humorous, debates about pop culture. Filled with wit, self-revelation, and sexual tensions, “Employees” offers a very perceptive view of today’s twenty-somethings. The film is loosely based on the experiences that Randy Appell and Scott Kramer (producers/writers/directors) had when working in their local strip mall’s sneaker store.

A exclusive scene from the film is now available at Too Many Nicknames website, www.toomanynicknames.com. Further information about the film and contact info for distribution can be found at the website as well.
