• We’re doing a Saturday update this weekend since we’ll be taking the Easter holiday off tomorrow. Caught “U-571″ yesterday, and it’s a fun, mindless action flick. Gotta love those submarine movies. I kinda got a bit pensive though before the flick started. Seems that practically every movie is forcing us to watch a good 2 or 3 outright COMMERCIALS before the movie starts. So, I gotta wonder now, with all the raised ticket prices, why does the movie theater hafta make even MORE dough by selling advertising that we paid good money NOT to have to watch? I mean, with inflation and all, it would make sense if prices stayed the same and the ads showed up, but to raise ticket prices AND throw in commercials? Sounds like outright greed. Damn shame.

Moving on, we’ve got a couple newsbites today and a thanks to all of you for helping us reach 3 million hits. Also, the Dogma DVD streets in a couple of weeks yet we never did receive any preview copies from Columbia Tristar. If anyone’s listening, get in touch with us, we’d love a chance to check out the disc and throw up a review for the many who read this site before the disc hits the streets.
