• The Dogma DVD is now available for pre-order through Jay & Silent Bob’s Secret Stash. For those of you who asked, no priced-to-own VHS of the movie will be available at this time. Remember, this DVD is just a new transfer of the movie in Dolby Digital with a trailer. The full-blown Special Edition DVD arrives this October.
• The excellent DVD File website promises a brand new Kevin Smith interview discussing Dogma and DVD. At presstime, the interview isn’t online yet, but we’re sure it’ll show up soon with the Dogma DVD release around the corner. We’ll keep you posted.
• Jay & Silent Bob artist Duncan Fegredo will be at comics 2000 this weekend in Bristol, UK. Check out their site.
• As you may have noticed in our Sunday update, the official site for the Jason Lee flick “Untitled” (the Stillwater movie) is now online at http://www.vinyl-films.com.
• We hear that Jimmy Palmiotti is going to be stepping down as co-editor of the Marvel Knights books and inker of Daredevil. Sad news, we dig the guy and his work, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
• Couple of big screen opportunities to catch some Askew flicks: First of all, a drive-in in Las Vegas is showing Dogma along with “American Psycho”, a Lions Gate double bill! More info HERE. The historic Oriental Cinema in Milwaukee will once again be showing Dogma, Saturday night 4/22, at midnight. And finally, for all the UK fans in or near London, Clerks and Dogma are being shown back to back in Soho on Monday, April 24th. It’s happening at the Prince Charles Cinema off Leicester Square. Details are:

• The “Movie Mistakes” website has new mistakes up for Dogma now, along with stuff we mentioned a long while back on other Askew flicks. It’s always fun to see the little flubs, and Kev’s the first to admit that they do happen.

• Those of you into the PC gaming scene no doubt have heard about the new game called “The Sims”. It’s a Sim-City like game, where you control people and their lives rather than just cities or civilizations. It’s very specific and cool. You can do everything from build a house, to get married, get a job, have children, watch TV, and the like. It’s quite remarkable.

At any rate, as with most games these days, it’s quite customizable, and one of our readers has painstakingly created new “skins” for Sims in the game. Now, you can have Jay & Silent Bob move into your house! Pretty cool, huh? Imagine the destruction you can muster! At any rate, check out the wonderful work on these skins by looking at the pics above. You will need to download the skins themselves and the skins addon, both available by clicking these links or heading over to Files Askew. Enjoy!

• Kevin’s the subject of a new interview at DVD.COM, where he’s asked a lot of questions regarding the Mallrats disc and the upcoming Dogma and Amy DVDs. The interivew’s a good one, which gets in-depth on Kev’s thoughts on each of the special edition laserdiscs and DVDs of his flicks, working with Criterion, release dates for the upcoming stuff, and more. Here’s probably the biggest revelation:

• Wow, after that excitement yesterday it just doesn’t seem to quit! We’re close to celebrating yet another huge milestone at this site today, and it arrived much sooner than expected, so our numbers are definitely increasing. Way cool. Thanks for visiting with us, as always.

Kevin’s news yesterday was welcome after a couple weeks of dead air around here. It certainly sounds as if they tried to make the Clerks shows into a flick, which would have worked nicely, but it seems that ABC wanted to hold onto their investment for some reason. At any rate, nice to know that the show will be seen by all in just over a month.
