It’s my last eve in the great Garden State for quite sometime. Tomorrow, Scott and I (and Jen and Harley) head out west to put in some intensive work on the post-production of the show. The first two episodes come back this week, and it’s time to start editing, sound mixing, scoring – all the polishing – as we prepare for a March bow. It’s looking like we’ll be L.A. based for at least three months, maybe more.

I read that piece on Another Universe (the one News Askew linked). I must honestly say that I have no idea what the author’s talking about. No one inside the ‘Mouseworks’ has seen any footage yet (let alone whole episodes). Believe me – if there was network flap, there’d be Kevin flap – as I’d be flapping my gums, crying foul, to you guys, the press, and anyone who’d listen. Fact of the matter is the network is pretty high on the show right now – which is easy to accomplish, as they’ve not seen anything. Granted, they were present for script readings, but those went pretty swell (with the exception of the grumblings of some uptight lawyer fuck with the worst mustache on the planet, who poo-pooed a Jay and Silent Bob joke from episode six after one of the readings; mercifully, he had zero creative input – nor a creative bone in his weasly body – and has since been moved away from our show anyway).
