He’ll play a thief who convinces veteran crook DeNiro to come along on one last job. With Frank Oz on board as director, we’re not sure if they’ve got comedy in mind (Though Oz is traditionally a comedic director), but we’re excited to see a team-up like this. Actress Emma Thompson gives birth to girl
LONDON (Reuters) – Oscar-winning British actress Emma Thompson has given birth to a baby girl, her agents said on Monday.
The 40-year-old actress and her boyfriend, actor Greg Wise, were “delighted” by the birth of their daughter Saturday morning at a north London hospital, the agents said.
The parents had no immediate idea of a name for the child.
“At the moment we are calling her Jane.com,” Wise said in a statement.
Hospital staff said Monday that mother and baby were both still in the hospital but doing very well.

- Finally today, the Millenium Issue of Rolling Stone has little pieces of commentary from various entertainment people, and Kevin talked about his year a bit:
“So far, being a Catholic artist in 1999 hasn’t been as nice an experience as I’d hoped it would be. I’m a churchgoer, man. I’m a dude who’s steeped in his faith. I’ll make a joke or something, but I’m not a blasphemer. I believe wholeheartedly in my God in the face of adversity, and let me tell you, I haven’t had much adversity in my life. In fact, I’ve had nothing but good fortune, which I think further points to the fact that there has to be a God. If I have a career in film, there has to be a God, ’cause I’m a lousy visual stylist.”
