Ben appeared on the Espy’s Monday night as a presenter for “Baseball Player of the Year”. In giving a recap of the baseball year, he started with the Yankees and said as a native Boston resident it was misery watching their hated rivals do as well as they did. After giving the award to Mark McGuire, Mark said “this must feel like winning the Oscar last year”. He was on-stage with David Wells, Sammy Sosa, Cal Ripken Jr, and McGwire. Ironically enough, Joey Lauren Adams was in attendance alongside Vince Vaughn.
