Hopefully those of you that missed the original run caught the repeat of Kevin & Jay on the Howard Stern E! Show last evening. A viewer wrote in with his thoughts and a summary in case you’re not familiar with the events. Remember, you can watch highlights of the apperance online HERE.
I figured I’d drop a lone to say that Kevin Smith and Jay Mewes were on Howard Stern tonight(2/7/99). I don’t know if this was a re-run or what, but it was pre-Dogma, because Kevin was saying how he was going to start shooting in February. It was fucking funny, because Kevin, Jay, and AJ Benza had to figure out which of 3 girls was the one who boasted to lighting up a room. Kevin was joking about how unlucky he was that none of the chicks took their shirts off. At the end of the show, one of the girls cornered him, trying to get cast in Dogma. It was hilarous. In the end she was yelling to her husband to get the number to the Askew offices. Kevin walked at the camera, raising an eyebrow in reaction. It was a classic money shot. I’m aspiring to do film someday, but when I saw how that chick cornered Kevin, it made me rethink my choice. Just thought I’d fill you in. Hope I didn’t waste your time, if it’s a rerun.
