Love Among Freaks been a respected staple of the New York and New Jersey club scene for the past three years and has gained worldwide musical recognition through the films of director Kevin Smith. In 1994, Love Among Freaks placed two tracks with Kevin Smith’s film “Clerks.” It was shown with the Freaks’ score at the Sundance Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival, winning awards at each. For “Clerks” fifteen country theatrical release, Sony Records released a soundtrack album, where Love Among Freaks retained two songs including the title track. In 1996, Kevin Smith included one of Love Among Freaks’ songs in his Miramax film “Chasing Amy” and they have also been asked to submit material for the soundtrack to the new Kevin Smith movie “DOGMA.”
