The new Neon magazine (British movie mag) has a list of “100 rumours about Star Wars:Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace, 2 of which make reference to both Clerks and Mallrats:

On the Canadian consumer awareness tv show “Street Cents” they have weekly polls. On a recent poll the question was “What do you read when on the toilet?” The number 3 answer was comic books. The visual was of a guy sitting on the john reading the Clerks comic! Nice to see the book getting more “exposure”.
Apparently some folks have already formulated some sequel ideas for Good Will Hunting. This one’s an interesting take, from Stick Figure Death Theater: Good Will Hunting II: Ben’s Revenge.
From the Hollywood Reporter comes a cast announcement from the upcoming film “X-Treme”:Justin Shenkarow & MARILYN GHIGLIOTTI!!!! Yes, Miss “37 Dicks (not in a row)” herself is in an upcoming picture. Shooting is listed as starting March 15 in L.A. and San Diego. The pic is written/directed by some fellow by the name of David Lee Porter.
