- In an April 30th NewsBite, we printed a rumor concerning Clerks 2…The scoop came from the Kevin Smith newsgroup, where the poster mentioned that HIS source was DP Dave Klein. Well, we received a note from DP Dave today, who completely denied that he’d said anything concerning a script or a release date from the flick. We apologize to Dave for dragging him into it and to you folks if we misled you…We did mention it was just a rumor, so please remember to take stuff like that lightly when we add that disclaimer.
- The April 29th Pittsburgh Post Gazette ran a comic, entitled “Brewed On Grant”, featuring none other than Kevin himself…Click the thumbnail to the right to see a huge blowup of the strip…It’s big (102k), so give it some time to load! Sorry about the quality of the scan, it’s the best our scoopers could do with their copy. Still completely readable though.
- Joey Adams is still soaking up some press, this time in the June issue of Playboy magazine, in which the above picture runs along with the text: “Chasing Joey. We’re wild about JOEY LAUREN ADAMS. Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon is to marry Hollywood stunner Winona Ryder.
Damon, 27, star of hit film Good Will Hunting, is said to have told a friend: “Winona is a wonderful woman and I’m in love with her.
“If all goes well I hope to make her my bride before the year is out.”
