Matt Wagner, creator of Mage, told the Mass O’ Media column (pg 12) that Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy)may begin work on a screenplay. Knowing that many filmventures don’t pan out,Wagner cautioned against fans getting tooexcited over to project. “When it gets there just depends on who we can get it hooked up with,” Wagner is quoted as saying, “Hopefully, with Kevin writing the screenplay, we will get some attention in Hollywood, and this won’t just be a longshot at getting a movie made that you hear about once and never again.”
