Looks like the Coke commercial Kevin directed will be appearing first during the Olympics,NOT the Superbowl as originally speculated. The MTV shorts (which are quite hilarious from what we’ve heard) hit the air sometime in March. The Clerks comic written by Kev is still set to hit the shelves mid-February.

This Friday and Saturday, “Clerks” will be the midnight movie at, CinemaStar Luxury Theaters in Riverside, CA. This is a great chance for you west-coasters who missed the thon to catch this classic on the big screen! Stop by their page for details.
Spin magazine’s February issue had a section on the “Indie 50” for 1997. Ben Affleck came in at #17, Kevin Smith just behind at #18, with Joey Adams at #29. Who was #1, you ask? Our NBC mole, who calls himself 812 Wynarski (and I wanted to rent a movie tonight), gives us advanced word that there’s a February 2nd rerun coming up with Joey Adams on Conan O’Brien that is a rebroadcast of her May 2nd appearance. Fans of hers may want to mark their calendars early if they missed this one the first time around.
