- Clinton Hosts Robin Williams For Movie Screening
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Clinton, making greater use of his Camp David presidential retreat, hosted movie starRobin Williams for a screening of the actor’s new movie over the weekend, a White House spokesman said Monday. Williams and members of his cast were at the retreat in the Maryland mountains, where Clinton spent Saturday and Sundaynights, White House spokesman Mike McCurry told reporters.
In his new movie, “Good Will Hunting,” Williams plays a therapist to a math prodigy played by Matt Damon. Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton rarely used Camp David while daughter Chelsea was living with them andpreferred to stay in town with her friends, McCurry said. But use of the retreat is expected to increase now that Chelsea isaway at Stanford University in California.
“The president and the first lady are going to be doing some more entertaining and socializing up there,” he said. “They likebeing up there.”
However, McCurry said he would not publicize the guest lists. “I think the president is entitled to invite who he wants to go upthere to be his private social guests and I don’t intend to report on the guest list on such occasions,” he said.

Also on the show, Matt stated that, although they remained extremely close, he was no longerdating Minnie Driver (for those of you out there who are concerned with such matters).
Oh, and while we’re mentioning Matt, sources say that he will be named “Male Star of Tomorrow”at the Showest Awards in Las Vegas on February 12th. We could NOT verify this anywhere, andthe ceremony is still a few weeks off, so this may or may not be true.
