• Kevin’s been posting a lot of interesting stuff lately since his return to the boards, so, instead of just putting up the posts (which gets to be quite long), we thought we’d summarize some of the more interesting stuff we’ve learned over the past couple days. While we’re onthe subject, boards are filling up in less than a day lately! What’s gotten into you people?Hehehe…Anyway, here we go:

• Emma Thompson sent Kevin a nice letter concerning her leaving “Dogma”. Yes, she’s out. Weactually reported this a while back, but removed it from the site due to some, shall we say,circumstances. Regardless of the fact, we can now definitely announce that Thompson will nolonger play God in the flick. We’ll let you know when a new actress has been chosen!
• The MTV special (Which is going to kick ass, we must say) will soon tape at the Stash andwill not only include ALL the soon-to-be-famous MTV Jay & Bob shorts, but the “Build Me Up Buttercup” video from ‘Rats (A must see!) and some other gems. Look for it.
• If anyone’s got tapes of the old USA network show, “Night Flight”, Kev’s looking for some.Contact him however you prefer. Ah, the memories we have of watching that show in our younger,carefree days…In fact, hell, we wouldn’t mind seeing some of that again either! Anyway, ifby some miracle anyone’s got them, by all means, contact Kevin and get him those tapes!
• Kevin reports that they’re fairly certain they’ve chosen their DP (Director of Photographyfor those of you non-film types) for “Dogma”. The name will hopefully be announced soon.
• There WILL be a “Dogma” soundtrack on Capitol Records. “Apparently, they liked the script.”(Of course you die hard fans KNEW already that he wouldn’t allow another flick to get madewithout a soundtrack after the Amy fiasco, right?)
• While we’re talking “Dogma”, sounds like it’s going to be a closed set. This means thatyou folks in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area that just hope to pop on by will have a prettytough time getting close to the action. Unless, of course, it’s a day where EXTRAS will berequired. Yes, there WILL be extras, and you’ll have a chance to get involved in somecapacity, but we DON’T have any details on this. So, we hate to be blunt, but PLEASE stopmailing us about getting a part in Dogma! News Askew WILL have any public info on the extrathing if and when it happens. Thanks.

In closing, we gotta say, the amount of time Kevin takes to read and respond to all this stuffis absolutely amazing. We take a ton of time running this site, but it can’t even match thetime it must take to read all the stuff on one of those boards. Kudos, Kev. Then again, maybeyou’re just killing time cuz you don’t wanna finish the “Dogma” novel? Heheh…
