Cinescape Supes Article…

  • HERE’s an article for all you folks who’vebeen following Kevin’s “Superman Lives” script fiasco, courtesy of an excellent movie magazine called Cinescape. In it, Kevin gives his thoughts on some of the silly things that are allegedly being added or changed for Tim Burton’s version of the flick. They shoulda just left it alone, man. The story’s a good read even if you think you’ve heard it all, plus, there’s some pretty cool casting info to be found there, as well.

  • As NewsAskew.Com continues to grow, so does that hit counter you see at the top of the page. It’s hard to believe that, in just over 7 months, this site will celebrate it’s 100,000th hit. We’d like to say we’ve got something special planned, whether it be a giveaway or a big party or something but, frankly, we don’t! If a rep from the Stash is reading this, perhaps you’d like to provide something to our big 100,000th customer? Anyway, even if there’s not a lot of ballyhoo and celebration, we’re still very pleased with the number, and looking forward to hitting the milestone. We estimate 100,000 will come sometime in the middle of next week.

      To the cats who come:

      Shutting down for awhile to let things cool off (this has nothing to do with Dogma, it has everything to do with how weird this place has been for the last week). Use this time to fully engage yourselves in your non-board lives for a little while. Will reconvene Wednesday, March 11th with fresh new stories and thoughts to share.     Remember that Simpsons episode where Marge got “Itchy and Scratchy” taken off the air, and all the kids went outside, rubbed their eyes and started to find other things to do with their time? Enjoy the downtime, folks. Relax. We considered taking some time off ourselves, but, then again, we’d have to play catch-up upon our return. So, rest assured, you’ll still have News Askew with ya during the hiatus, it’s only gonna be one week.
