Kevin Smith & Jason Lee Win Independent Spirit Awards!
News Askew would like to congratulate Kevin Smith, winner of the Best Screenplay award for “Chasing Amy”, and Jason Lee, Best Supporting Male, also for “Chasing Amy”. Both were up against some stiff competition, which makes the win even sweeter. Kevin’s speech, which he opened with the line, “This makes up for all the girls who told me I had a small dick”, is being called the most memorable moment of the show.
Again, congrats to two well-deserved, hard-working guys.
