While we’re on the subject of parodies: Here’s a few funny shots of Chasing Amy and Clerks with a couple of “different” leading actors. The goatee on R2’s face in the first shot had us laughing for quite a while.

There are two appearances of the Silent Bob and Jay Action Figures in the January 1999 issue of ToyFare (with Star Trek Figures on the front cover). The Silent Bob and Jay Figures are listed as the 3rd most popular figure(s)! Also, it the back where they have the Price List, there is a picture of Silent Bob and Jay. Silent Bob is saying something to the effect of “After I finishing drawing Daredevil, I am going to start working on Green Arrow”; Jay says, “My torso’s like four feet long! Did you approve this toy?!”
