Ben Affleck, winner of `Male Trendsetter of the Year’ Golden Hanger, told Melissa: “The Oscar® was nice, but this (Golden Hanger Award) is what I’ve waited for.” Of the suit Affleck wore for the Academy Award ceremonies, he said: “I was thinking maybe the candy striped blazer, but the (designers) told me to go another way. And they put on a different suit.”

This week’s Corona Coming Attractions has a breaking rumor on the Preacher movie. According CCA the movie’s producers have fielded offers to five actors for the movie. These actors are Ben Affleck (Jesse); Cameron Diaz (Tulip); Robert Carlysle (Cassidy); and Samuel L. Jackson. CCA cautions that these are by no means final casting decisions but rather the beginning of negotiations for casting.

They also report that financing has been secured by producers Rupert Harvey and Michael Heuser. This could mean more rapid movement on the project. No word is given as to the source of this information.
