- IGN’s back in our news again…This time, they did a top ten list of the Top Ten hormonally-charged actors working in Hollywood today. At number One? View Askewer Ben Affleck, with a great Mallrats mention to boot.
- Ethan Suplee (Mallrats, American History X) joins REMEMBER THE TITANS for director Boaz Yakin (FRESH). The pic stars Denzel Washington and Will Patton as coaches of a newly integrated football team. Based on a true story set in 1971, it follows Coach Herman Boone who was made head football coach of a Viriginian football team following the forced integration of an all black school with an all white school. He and the assistant coach (Will Patton) overcome their own differences toâ€mold a group of mis-matched young men into a state championship teamâ€. The film, being directed by upcomer Boaz Yakin (â€Freshâ€) who is only 27 years old, is expected to be released by Buena Vista sometime next year. Thanks to Dark Horizons for the extra plot info.

- Claire Forlani‘s hitting the silver screen again in the future from the sound of things…And hey, there’s nothing wrong with that.
Forlani plays in ‘Boys and Girls’ for Dimension
Claire Forlani (â€Meet Joe Blackâ€) has been cast to replace Anna Friel in the lead role for Dimension Films’ romantic comedyâ€Boys and Girls.†Friel (â€William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) had signed on about two months ago to topline the picture but has dropped out because of “creative differences,†sources said Monday. Forlani will play opposite Freddie Prinze Jr.; the pair play close friends who fall in love. Jason Biggs (â€American Pieâ€) plays Prinze’s womanizing chum and serves as the film’s comic relief.
