• Maxim has Claire Forlani listed as their “girlfriend of the day” today, along with a small note about her role in “Mallrats”.
• Those of you from GB and its surrounding areas can rejoice: Dogma will be released on a nice region 2 DVD for ya this summer! The date scheduled is July 17, 2000. It’s tentative, but it sounds realistic enough to us.
• “Reindeer Games”, Affleck‘s upcoming little action/suspense flick, is getting some good reviews around the web. Early word is that it’s a fun little popcorn film, and a good time at the movies. Dark Horizons and AICN posted respective positive reviews for this one late last week. Surf on over and give them a read (but watch out for thosespoilers!).

Speaking of good ‘ol Ben, his posting continues to be quite frequent over at his web board at affleck.com. Surf over if you’d like to read his latest thoughts on what’s going on with People’s History and his thoughts on the Clerks series.

• More Australia Dogma news: With a release just around the corner, the trailer for the film’s being spotted. One scooper saw it looped in with Stigmata, so there’s a good lead for ya. Rumor has it that there’s not much of an ad campaign running for the flick on the tube over there, so a theater may be the only spot you can catch a good look at the trailer.

Also, we’ve got the inside track on the THREE sneak previews of Dogma happening at Hoyt’s Cinemas on February 3rd: The previews are part of 3 movie marathons screening at Hoyts cinemas at Garden City (11:30pm onwards), Southlands (11:50pm onwards) and Carousel (11:45pm onwards) on this Tuesday, the 25th of Janurary.

• “The Blair Clown Project” (can ay guess what flick this spoofs?), which features a small one-minute cameo by Jason Mewes himself, can now be ordered online. We’re awaiting our copy, but we hear that the flick’s getting some very positive feedback.
• MovieFone.com is doing their MovieGoer awards again this year. It starts out where the voter can pick 5 from about 25 or 30 movies to be nominated. ‘Dogma’ is one of those movies for a few categories. There’s also a category for best quote where you write you favorite quote from any movie this year. We’d hafta go with pretty much anything Jay said in the flick –Man, was that ever a funny performance.

• The latest issue of Daredevil’s got a couple Askew references (of sorts) in there, seems to be a tradition with this series. Check out the above scans for a closer look.
• A UK Kevin Smith fansite celebrated it’s 50,000th hit milestone with a new domain name: http://www.silentbob.co.uk/. We were asked if we could throw up a mention, and we’re happy to do so.
