- Kevin checked in with the big news that is Psycomic column, that was originally going to be a weekly rant on the comics industry, has surprisingly turned into a behind-the-scenes journal on the preproduction of View Askew 5! Way, way cool. So, expect some juicy stuff, and probably the first revelations on the cast and plot of this mysterious flick, to appear exclusively at Psycomic (and maybe here if we can get any reprint permission) as soon as this Friday. The column is now called ‘Developing the Monkey’. It still debuts on Friday, but it’s not about comics. Instead, I chose to chronicle pre-production on ‘VA5′. I turned in my first four columns, and they detail the casting trip we just took to L.A. It’s some pretty inside stuff that I think you’ll all enjoy.
Also, I’ve seen the prototype for the DVD Case we’re going to start selling. It’s really fucking gorgeous. We should start soliciting for it next week. Big kudos to Paul Champagne for what’s probably the sweetest piece of swag we’ve ever sold.
Paul’s original gold CD cases were really slick, so we’re really looking forward to seeing what the new product looks like. Trust us, they’re worth your dough whether you have the discs, plan to buy the discs, or just want to put something cool on your old VHS shelf to pretend with.
