• Howdy folks. Just wanted to say hey and thanks again for stopping in. The site’s been quite lively lately, lots of hits, lots of talkbacks, lots of logo contest entries…Hey, we appreciate it. Everything’s on track to announce a logo winner on January 1st, and man, it’s gonna be a TOUGH call.

There’s FINALLY a new poll topic for ya to wrestle with over there, thanks to Charles Miller. We’re always up for a good poll topic, so if ya got those suggestions, send ‘em in.

• Thanks to the many of you who wrote in (though, strangely, the Psycomic dudes DIDN’T drop us a line) regarding Kev’s new column. Their site, as we expected, due to problems with the server/provider, PSInet. Joe D., the senior editor over there, says “Sucks too cuz Kevin’s column is genius this week.”. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a copy to post in the meantime, but we understand. Check out the column when the site (hopefully) goes live again on Monday. We’ll of course have a report right here for ya, too.

• We mentioned this last update and forgot to post the darn pics, but the excellent Comics Continuum site has posted a new pic from one of Kev’s upcoming books. This one’s a prototype of Jay from the Bluntman & Chronic series which a scooper (Mark) even took the liberty of coloring in for us. Nice.

Also, another neat find – Chris Bailey’s website has 2 pieces of art which may or may not ever see the light of day, but appear to have been done as possible covers (but more than likely some inside the jacket art) for the upcoming Clerks Uncensored DVD. Check these out folks, they’re fantastic, and indicative of what a great job Bailey has done with this material. Here’s hoping the guy has a BIG part in the proposed Clerks Animated Movie (we assume he will).
