• Hey folks…We’ve got a pretty cool update for you today, as we finally catch up on some stuff and present some features and material that we think you’re really gonna dig. First of all, there’s the long-awaited second half of our On Location report from California. Yep, it’s finally done! Sorry for the wait there. Next, something that comes totally out of left field, and a News Askew exclusive. Did you send a pic in for inclusion in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back? Wanna see if it’s in there? See below. We think you’re gonna dig this one. And finally, some words on a milestone that this site celebrated yesterday. Let’s get started…

• For those of you that may have forgot (it’s been a while!), we visited the set of Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back late last month. Part 1 focused on our trip out there and our first day on the set. This second half covers Tuesday and Wednesday, and includes our experiences on the set, watching the completed film (so far), checking out the production design offices, and lots, lots more. And note: This report is totally spoiler-free, but was written originally with spoilers intact. • Yep, you read it right. Right here, courtesy of Ratface and the production design department, we’ve got the “winners” of that “mail-in-a-photo-and-be-in-the-flick” thing. These two bulletin boards will appear in a police station and in Marshall Willenholly’s office in the film. They were assembled completely from the photos that all of you sent in, so click the thumbnails above and scour them for you and your friends! Are you ON one of these boards? E-mail Chris your name so he can add you to our list over at Scooping The Monkey. And if you found yourself, congratulations, and welcome to the long list of those appearing in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. • As you probably noticed, News Askew celebrated our 5 MILLIONTH HIT early yesterday. Thanks again to all of you for stopping by the site over the past 4 years (has it been that long?), and we hope to continue to keep things fresh and exciting as this project continues. With Kevin and View Askew keeping as busy as they have been, it shouldn’t be a problem! With the new movie coming out this year, tons of DVD releases, and of course all of the comic and toy projects, there’s no sign of things slowing up anytime soon. As for the site itself, hits are coming faster than ever, so let’s get working on that next million, which we’ll likely hit sometime this summer. Thank you for your continued visits, scoops, and your support. As always, the site wouldn’t be here without you.

Congratulations to Scott Mayle for hitting the magic number and sending us the screenshot. We’re going to look into View Askew prize archives and see what we can come up with, as this occasion deserves some sort of reward, for sure. His website, by the way, features a cartoon strip called Sod & Git, characters who are currently on a Spring Break road trip to be extras in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.
