  • We know it’s tough when you’re looking forward to something like an appearance from Kevin to have it cancelled. Seems that the schedule with the movie and the upcoming strikes making it even tighter have made it tough to fit everything in, unfortunately. Here’s the official word from Fredonia on the cancellation “Due to the oncoming Actors and Screenwriters Guild strikes, Kevin had to cancel his appearance at SUNY Fredonia on the 19th. The trip would have taken time out of his schedule that he needs to wrap up Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and made the lecture impossible.” Fredonia wants you to know that they have lined up a good replacement for the 19th, though: Kimberly Peirce, the director of Acadamy Award winning film “Boys Don’t Cry”. They understand the unique situation that makes cancelling the show a necessity, and tell us that they hope to book Kevin another time, perhaps as soon as next semester.
