  • By far, today’s most popular scoop comes from the IMDB where View Askew is a choice in this question:
Coolest production company name?

Currently, at presstime, View Askew is the leader with over 20 percent of the vote among over 10 other production companies. Go cast your vote and watch the results soar!

  • Kevin’s been hitting the radio circuit with a few interviews lately. He was scheduled to appear on 103.3 The Edge (WEDG) in Buffalo, NY, today on the Shredd and Ragan show in the morning. Yesterday, a local Portland, Oregon station (94.7 KNRK) interviewed him and one of the DJs summed it up:
I was out of breath the whole time. Kevin was good and good and good and then comics came up and he was off like a jet pack. Awesome. We talked about the Fletch Won script, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, of course….Marvel Knight Daredevil 1-8 and then David Mack’s run with the series after that, Marvel in general and whether they were trying to sort of gleen ‘indie cred’, the new Green Arrow series, Oni Press and local comic artists…what else. Joey Lauren Adams, does her voice suck or not….different reoccuring things in the films (hockey, Star Wars, John Hughes, referencing other characters from other movies, etc.) and how that is a comic-y thing to do, a sort of continuity thing for the fans to get happy about. We might replay the interview again later, I don’t know.
  • A few new sightings in the magazine realm contained plugs for J&SBSB: Playstation Magazine summed up the latest rumors regarding the cast and the involvement of Star Wars alumni Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. And, speaking of which, Star Wars Insider #54 also chats about Hamill’s involvement.

  • And finally today, a scan from the excellent UK Film magazine “Hotdog” has managed to continue on with their View Askew mention streak by putting a nice article with an inset photo about Green Arrow and Hollywood Stars in general using comics as another creative outlet. Click the scan to see the snippet. Later.
