- Hey folks…Just checking in with a few personal words as it’s been a while since we said anything. As you can see, news is slowing back up again, with mostly Newsbites going on, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be boring around here. We’ll have full coverage of Kevin’s upcoming college appearances, news on that DVD and the preparations of the J&SBSB DVD, which looks to be the biggest View Askew DVD project EVER. In addition to that, there’s the new script that Kevin recently finished, which is supposed to take a new turn and begin a new era for View Askew. We’ll also be covering the releases of the flick overseas and checking in with news from around the world.
Here on the home front, we haven’t forgotten about some special features we’ve been promising for quite some time – We’ll have a nice information page with all the latest on the college gigs, so you’re sure not to miss a chance to get involved, we’d love to see the News Askew fans get into these things. Watch for that. Also, there’s the matter of a new drinking game or two, currently in the planning phases. We’re still hoping to make use of that chat room we’ve added for some celebrity chats, if we can get some bugs worked out, and there’s a lot more ideas we’ve been kicking around. Presently, though, we’re enjoying a few lax weeks around here after the extremely busy summer, but we’re looking forward to a lot of new projects.
In the meantime, theatrical releases look pretty slim around here, aside from that way cool Lord of the Rings trailer, there’s not too much to look for over the coming months, at least as far as big studio films go, but then again, not many of the studios have been turning out very impressive product these days. Has anyone else noticed that the quality of television programming has gone up, especially with the dramatic programming of HBO and even the big 4 networks, which film quality has, as a whole, gone down? It’s interesting. Hey, ya never know, Kevin might get involved in another series for television somewhere down the line…
At any rate, let’s take a look at a few stories for today. As always, thanks for sticking with us and for stopping by the site today.
