- The December issue of Star Wars Insider magazine, on newstands now, has a flip cover featuring Jay & Silent Bob and a 10 page spread on Kevin and all the View Askew films. There’s alot of analysis and attention paid to the voluminous Star Wars references and homages the flicks are famous for, as well as extended analysis of J&SBSB. The bulk of the article is an interview with Kevin, very complimentary and very cool. Get your copy while they’re still around!
- There’s a mention of Kevin in relation to a 9/11 benefit in “Your Man’s Column†at Marvel.com. Apparently, they’ve got a signed J&SBSB poster (by Kevin, of course) availabe for bidding on at. GrayHavenMagazine.com, among lots of other comic ‘goodies. The action runs until Octover 7th. As you know, Kevin is no longer signing Stash items, so signed Kev merchandise is harder to come by these days…Don’t miss your chance to own a signed poster!
- Model Mart magazine ran a brief clip about Kevin’s upcoming stint with Black Cat, due from Marvel in 2002. Check out the story by clicking the scan thumbnail.
- There was a question about Kevin on last night’s edition of “The Weakest Linkâ€. The question was something like this: “Who is the writer/director of Clerks who also portrays the character Silent Bob?†The show was a celebrity edition, and the question was answered correctly.
- Brief J&SBSB cameo star Sean Willam Scott will be filling in for Ben Stiller, who cancelled his appearance, on Saturday Night Live this coming weekend. The musical guest will be Sum 41.
- A relatively old Jay Mewes interview (crica 1997) has been located online HERE.
- Speaking of Mewes, he’s again doing quite well in a Film Threat poll where he appears today, which asks viewers which comedic actor they think could make a successful transition into drama.
