- On this morning’s Howard Stern radio program, “Vulgar” was discussed for a little while. Howard’s producer Gary had passed on a copy of the film to watch, who told him that it was a Kevin Smith production that started out as a good comedy and then takes a terrible turn.
Howard’s response was that he enjoyed it up until the rape scene which disturbed him so much that he claims to have immediately thrown the tape in the trash (then again, Howard says this about most tapes he watches).
Director Bryan Johnson called it a few minutes later to talk about the film a bit. Afterwards they continued to joke about sequels to it and what would be funny. The entire segment ran for about 8 minutes or so.
We’re regular listeners of the show, so we’ve got it all here for you in audio format. As we mentioned, Stern wasn’t exactly into the flick, but as Johnson indicates, it’s not for everyone!
