- This is sort of intriguing…We haven’t heard any official word of Spidey/Black Cat being on hold, but a new six-issue series called “Trouble”, coming soon, features artwork from Terry & Rachel Dodson, whom as you know were working on the Spidey book with Kev. We’ll let you know what we find out.
- CountingDown.com has a 4-minute interview with Jason Lee promoting his new movie, “Dreamcatcher.” Lee also makes some comments about “Fletch Won” during the piece. The film took in around 15 and a half million this week. Reviews have been pretty harsh on the film, but we found it to be fun in a silly sorta way.
- TV Guide Online’s got a new trivia game about prime time cartoons that asks this as its final question: Who was the evil villain in the cartoon version of Clerks? Take the quiz HERE.
- This IGN FilmForce article discusses the possibility of Chris Rock and Will Ferrell co-starring in a movie…but oddly enough, it doesn’t mention that they’ve ALREADY appeared together in J&SBSB.
- We’re not sure we even understand this one, but “Clerks” was mentioned in the UK Gamecube magazine NGC. It’s in a list of “Non-lethal weapons for the GC version of ‘Hitman 2′”, which is a joke list. It is described in the list (#8) as “A riotous low-budget comedy in which undermotivated convenience store workers play hockey and talk about Star Wars.” Okay.
- This one might be a bit old, but this site suggested alternate casting for “The Lord of the Rings”, and put Mewes in the role of Legolas, complete with a photo. Even Kevin’s suggested for Gimli. Obviously some fans there.
- Yet another web comic nod for Jay & Silent Bob, this time in one called “Combustible Orange”. Check it out HERE.
- And finally today, the Clerks animated series gets another nod, but only one that fans of the show will pick up on — Check out the final frame of “Lethal Does” for the funny.
