- The great Liz Phair has revealed, in an interview at the Mesmerizing fan site, that she indeed has composed and recorded a new song (while on tour, no less), for the Jersey Girl film and soundtrack! The song, called “Youâ€, will be featured in the film. If you’ve yet to check out Liz’s new self-titled CD, do so immediately. It’s appeal is infectious. It’ll even make a great stocking stuffer. We’re very pleased to hear that Liz enjoyed the film so much that she’s recorded a tune just for it. Hopefully we’ll have a little taste of the tune for ya here soon.
