  • A scooper points out that this Thursday’s premiere of “Testees” on FX, which we mentioned last update, will not only be presented by “Zack And Miri Make a Porno”, but also, the show was written by and stars Kenny Hotz (of “Kenny & Spenny” fame), who has a small role in “Porno”. Tune in for what’s sure to be a funny show, and to perhaps see some new footage from the latest View Askew production.
  • “Zack And Miri Make a Porno” star Katie Morgan and some friends made a cameo appearance on last night’s new episode of HBO’s “Entourage” — As the show is uncensored, you also get some skin as a bonus! Worth checking out, for sure, if you’re not already watching this popular program.
  • One scooper caught the green band “Zack And Miri” trailer in theaters this weekend, playing before “Religulous”. It’s the first report we’ve heard of the trailer on the big screen. Remember, the red band will NEVER play in theaters, so the green band is the only one you’ll see the the local cineplex. Commercials for the film continue to air regularly and in good spots – CBS’s popular EliteXC Martial Arts competition recently aired the trailer in a prime location between rounds.
  • Kevin and his awesome DVDs commentaries get a super quick mention on the latest comic-themed Newsarama “Word Balloon” podcast. Listen to it all or scan in to around the 1 hour 32 minute mark to hear the mention.

Zack and Miri green band trailer is also playing in front of “Choke”. Saw it this weekend.

Green band was before my screening of Nick and Norah.

Why won’t the red band ever show up in theaters? I didn’t think it’d be Internet exclusive. Why not throw it up before an R-rated movie?

Yeah, why not? I remember seeing a Red Band trailer for “Step Brothers” not too long ago…

My “home” theater is a Regal Cineplex. The entire chain makes a point of playing red band trailers, if they are available, before R rated movies.
