- Kevin made another memorable appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Friday night, and the magic of amazing video site Hulu allows us to bring you directly to that moment of the program. This time around, Kevin stops in to tell a tale some of you may be familiar with, which took place during a recent poker game at The Stash inside Laser Blazer. We’ll leave the joy of the tale for you to discover if you’ve yet to hear — What we like about this clip is that, having heard the story, it’s interesting to see how Kevin continues to craft it and embellish with more details and jokes — Resulting in the type of epics we get during the Q&A appearances (our review of Threevening is coming up tomorrow, by the way).
Check out the clippage with the tale, along with a nice clip and plug for “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” — Leno has a bit of trouble with the title, but Kevin takes it in stride and once again makes a hilarious stop on Leno’s couch, having the audience howling and certainly helping to recruit more business for the film, arriving in theaters everywhere on Friday, October 31st, 2008.

Be “Zack And Miri” This Halloween!
- More fun promotional material comes to us today courtesy of The Weinstein Company — This time, they invite fans to mask themselves as one of the titular characters for Halloween this year. Check out the instructional image above and this handy PDF for your very own FREE Zack or Miri mask.

Smith & Rogen Guest In A New Podcast…
- Scene Unseen’s movie review podcast welcomes special guests Kevin Smith AND Seth Rogen to celebrate their 100th episode. Their gimmick features two reviewers, one who has seen a film, one not. Interesting concept, eh? The show runs for a full hour and fifteen minutes, where they discuss the flick of the week, “Blindness”, among several other topics, including “Conquest of the Planet of the Apes” (and Tim Burton), “The Last American Virgin,” “Gigli” (a film that Rogen actually auditioned for), Kevin’s “Watchmen” review, “Three Amigos,” “Slacker,” a fantastic Chris Rock story, and so much more.
Of course, you’ll also hear some new insight into “Zack and Miri” as the duo promote the film, now less than two weeks away from theaters. - We thought that Kev and Scott might be taking a month off due to being so busy with the movie release, but nope, the guys quietly gifted us with a new episode of SModcast last week, and we don’t think you’ll want to miss it. Episode #65 breaks down like this:
SModcast 65: Captain Kev and Mister Scott – In which our heroes race with the devil, question a non-singing moon-walker, and make contact with the most aloof alien in the galaxy.

This comes from an ad that aired surprisingly during a late night slot, Saturday Night Live on NBC in some markets. Watch for the title card at the end stating simply “Zack And Miri”. Now, keep in mind, the full title is still what stands, but marketing did agree to shorten the title to appease advertisers where needed. Plus, when audiences hit ticket windows to buy on October 31st, we know we’re all going to be asking for tix to just “Zack And Miri” anyway.
- The promotion machine continues with a lot more opportunities to immerse yourself into the world of “Zack And Miri” on the web — The latest, a discovery from JoBlo, invites you to visit a new URL called “ZackAndMiriFootage.com”, where you answer some questions as Zack or Miri, some of which may relate to plot points in the film, and get judged on the type of porno you wound up with. Give it a shot, and see what type of scores you can chalk up. Results seem to be quite varied and fun, who knows how many combinations there might be. Enjoy.
