  • There’s tons of buried treasure at the official website for “Zack And Miri Make a Porno”, so if you haven’t stopped by in a while, it’s time for another visit. We love the production blog that currently features an ad you can embed on your own sites or Myspace pages. Also, if you haven’t been tracking Kev’s posts or reading News Askew over the past year or so (and shame on you!), they’re all archived from the most recent back to the beginning right there at the blogsite.

In addition to that newness, you’ll also find links to the “Money Shots” webisodes (more on them in a moment), both trailers, merchandise, and more. Spread the word and send the link around, help us promote the funniest flick hitting theaters this year! “Zack And Miri Make a Porno” hits screens in just 18 days.

  • “Money Shots” continue to fly fast and furious under the watchful eye of producers Zak Knutson and Joey Figueroa. The latest episode presented on the QSE front page (at presstime) involves the hilarious Kenny Hotz of “Kenny vs. Spenny” fame, mixing it up with Rogen. Hotz was on set to film a cameo appearance in the film.

In the archives, in case ya missed it over the weekend, is Episode Three, which features the two leads of our movie, Rogen and Banks spend a few minutes at Zack And Miri’s kitchen table.

“Money Shots” webisodes will continue running all month long, and remain free and exclusive at View Askew’s entertainment portal on the web, Quick Stop Entertainment.

  • Keeping with the “every film View Askew releases has controversy” theme, “Zack And Miri” bus ads and poster marketing have grabbed the attention of a college professor according to the Boston Herald. As usual, we’re figuring any press is good press, and that the professor feels the same way – After all, she’s selling a book she co-authored. But, like the article says, the ads have passed all necessary screenings, and are totally legal to run as they are. The story was picked up by 7 News.
  • On the newly released DVD for “The Happening”, an extra features looks at the scene where our beloved Brian O’Halloran drives a jeep into a tree. Watch this feature for more of O’Halloran behind the scenes, and certainly more than ended up in the final flick.
  • Jay & Bob show up on a top 10 list of “movie losers” though the title is misleading, as the article more refers to classic but flawed film heroes. Check out the piece HERE courtesy of Heckler Spray.
