- KROQ has announced that Kevin’s appearance on the Kevin & Bean morning show has moved to Thursday (tomorrow).
- Washington, DC Radio Station DC101 is holding an ‘exclusive premiere’ of J&SBSB. Want to go? They’re giving away tickets to those who sign up at their website TODAY (so enter NOW!). The station has also announced that the one and only AFROMAN will play at their Labor Day Show, which is held annual at a contest winner’s home. Get those entries in, DC area residents!
- The Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX is planning to announce sales of tickets for an advance J&SBSB screening on Thursday. You can reach them at 512-472-2901.
- Promotions continue for the film and soundtrack. Television commercials are being spotted all over the various networks, both the big 4 and cable, on shows like WWF Raw, Fox’s “Murder In Small Town Xâ€, and more. Another scooper spotted a large painting of the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back soundtrack cover on the wall outside of a large record shop, Benway Records, in Venice Beach, where a ton of traffic passes by. Sounds like both the film and the soundtrack are getting a HUGE promotional push, even with a few weeks (3 exactly) until release.
